Within the world, there're continents; within continents, there're nations; within nations, there're communities; wihtin communities, there're schools; within schools, there're classes; within classes, there're cliques; and finally, within cliques, you'll find yourself.
The idea of separation into groups of similar interests / characteristics is not something new to us. Cliques are part and parcel of class life. Throughout my 17 years, be it in CCA, school, or any other organisation with more than 5 members, there's always been some kind of splitting. I guess it allows us to find closer friends, and receive the support and security of a close friendship.
We can't eliminate cliques. I guess its up to us where to draw the line then. In my opinion, if we have something common to laugh about, to brood about, to worry about, to be proud of.. it would be something unique only to our class. Also, we should also know something more about every person other then what he / she is on the outside. That, I guess.. would make a strong and united class. We already have necessary ingredients for all this, with a scandal (=p), strict teachers' to complain about.. promos..
So let us not worry and concentrate on the task at hand - promos.
