Quotting shuTTer:
if we shed these expectations and go in with an open mind so to speak, without any preconceived ideas or comparisons, I think we will find ourselves pleasantly surprised at what we may experience..What shuTTEr said in his/her first post/stanza may make a lot of sense, but sometimes i feel that it is much easier said than done. As a class we ought to interact more with the other 24 instead of maybe hanging out as a 'group', but it is sometimes so hard to talk to other people when you see that they are having so much fun among themselves or are content just to stick to a 'group;' (note i'm avoiding using the word clique. why? i dunno...)
cant really help it.. but why not lets focus on the positives? the feelings of disunity as a class only come about because of expectations we have of each other and of the class..
yes its sad.. not least because some would rather keep company only with a select few others and not mix around freely.. not their fault, not anyones fault, just something that happens..
As the CT rep i have to admit i'm sometimes guilty of that too, so heh. I do feel sometimes that the class is a little 'groupified' and I find it hard to talk to the others. But maybe that's because I find it hard to talk to people or to sustain a conversation. But to whomever posted the bottom post, cheer up man and stop worrying. We have a bigger task (i.e PROMOS AND OP) to conquer rather than worrying about the state of the class now, and anyway...
- we do have a chalet to look forward to
- we do have the 6 weeks of nov/dec holidays to look forward to
- we still have our 2nd year in VJC as a class together
erjian came, saw, blogged
