reflections: 13/7/05

Wednesday... appeared to have started off not very well...

for a start, it seemed we were going to perspire a lot and tire off at the start of the day... then we were accounting for "lost" people whom we feared dire consequences, and then later on people were not too happy changing out... after all, it is quite a chore...

but in the end things turned out quite fine ya? i thought the class was pretty united throughout the whole thing, watching the elderly doing their exercise and walking on the stones. all of us were going through this together, and i thought it brought us pretty close. it was good time to just chat too... it's a little difficult to find time to just chat for a long time now...

but seriously, if we see these things as punishment and all, we really have only ourselves to blame? probably if we just followed the rules and did what students are told to do, all this could have been avoided...

not blaming anyone here. we are in this as a class. however still think that the power to get out of this mess ( if it is one) lies in our hands. we can all be better students yeah?

and i guess rules are really made to be followed, not broken... seriously no one really blames the government when someone breaks the law and gets punished or something, not because no one dares, but because it is a boundary no one should cross, and those who do so, die ( duh)

then again maybe some of the school rules may be considered stupid. but if we don't follow these rules, we won't learn discipline. probably that could be taught like at home or something, but to think that we are in control of ourselves all the time is really sometimes self-deception. probably the way this problem is being solved now is not really the best way, but if the problem did not exist at all, there would be no need of a solution i guess...

then again, these are just personal thoughts, so ya... just read and consider?
