My First Bookout

Hey all, this is my first bookout, due to a medical appointment =). Let me talk a bit about ns before the rest of you go in. Ok, let me do this the standard army way, step by step.

1. Army can be fun. Why? Becos of the ppl there, not really becos of the drills and the water parades (you'll know what is this later and you will learn to treasure the toilet).
2. The food is kinda ok. but they seldom give enough time to eat so eat as fast as possible.
3.When in lectures, listen up and listen well because you may be tested on it. Also, cannot sleep unless got no sergeant or officer around =)
4. Every day also have not enough sleep. Only 7 hours allowed and it's not really enough becos u might not be used to sleeping in the bunk.
5. First two weeks cannot book out unless got public holiday or other reason (medical appointment, sb getting married, interview...) Unfortunately for ppl goin in april, there aint much holidays there, so the first two weeks stuck in camp.
6.Must shout loud loud, otherwise ppl laugh at you. Dun worry, i got this covered.
7. When march, march properly or ppl will also laugh at you.
8. Salute also must do properly or kena tekan.
9.Got a lot of new things to learn and when the sergeant talking or demostration look closely and listen carefully.
10. Every thing you learn write down in a notebook so you wont forget. Then memorise it. That's the strategy i use lah. If u got photographic memory then just forget the last point.

Anyway, enough talk, time to take a nap =) very tired liao. cant wait for u peeps to get into ns too, then got more ppl to talk to in camp otherwise me and chun teck very lonely lol.
