Its not Christmas here yet.. but merry christmas anyway!
Glad to know jon and chun teck aren't suffering in army.. think i'm gonna die when I come back.. already put on a few kg here.. and getting quite unfit. Heh..
Anyway, let me share with you all some of the highlights from my trip so far..
San Fransisco
This is where the famous golden gate bridge is.. I stayed at the town next to SF for the 1st week or so. I biked across the bridge, and it was quite tiring because we had to travel quite a long way to reach the bridge and there were many hills and slopes in btw. Anyway, this picture was taken from the mountain / hill behind the bridge, and the scenery from there is really beautiful.
Los Angeles
Its a hive of activity here at hollywood.. Posters of new movies everywhere, and people in costumes like this tiger walking around, posing for pictures and asking for tips. Its act quite hard to take a pic of them, coz they want you to tip them. I wanted to take this pic of spongebob but he always turned away when I pointed the camera at him. Anyway that's the walk of fame above where most of the famous stars names are printed on stars on the floor. Unless you're star crazy, hollywood isn't very interesting. Oh they give away free tickets for talkshows and comdies etc. here.. prob coz they are so many it would be immpossible to fill up every1 if they charged.
The highlight of LA was really this theme park - Six Flags Magic Mountain, filled with full of crazy rides such as these. Almost every ride at this theme park is a high thrill ride with lots of loops, twists turns and drops. At first, it is kind of scary before you sit these rides. But after sitting a few, you become kind of immune to it and no longer afraid anymore. It was lots of fun but you might get a slight headache after sitting the rides.
