WOOOO!!!!!! MERRY CHIRSTMAS!!!!!
Finally, the first book out... too bad its only 24 hours, and i have about 9+ hours left.
Hmm.... what to say about the army??
Actually, its still quite slack so far, for the first 5 days, the siren keeps going off, announcing 'CAT 1' (lightning and thunder), so most of the training were cancelled and pushed back. Haha, jotm even luckier, go for medical appointment, then come back still got time off from the physical activities.
Right now, jotm and I are in the same company, jotm living 2 floors below me. I very suay lor, kena the 5th floor, which is the top floor, so everyday have to run up and down 5 flights of stairs. Well, at least I will be able to pass by standing broad jump by the end of the 3 months.
4 the guys going 2 army, besides the standard items on the list, it won't hurt to bring some extra stuff, such as scissors, pens, notebooks, rags, marker, clothes peg etc. Some of them may be very useful. N if you want 2 practice 4 the army, try drinking 700ml - 1000ml of water in one shot, then control your bladder until you cannot tahan anymore :P. In army, i think we drink up at least 5 - 6 bottles of water everyday, even more if there's physical activity.
So far, the food there is quite good, u don't need to worry abt not getting enough food for each meal. But then after a while, I think you will find the food quite sian, because the menu is quite repetitive. Chicken is present in almost every meal, so if you don't eat chicken, too bad...
Actually, this december PTP batch is quite lucky. While others have to stay the first 2 weeks in Tekong, we get to book out after 10 days. Whats more, we are gonna have a 5 day book out from the 29 dec to 2 jan. All thanks to the public holidays :). PTP batch is also less hiong, because we got extra 4 weeks to learn all the stuff, so the pace is less tiring than the pple going in on Jan.
9 hours left, so im going to enjoy the rest of the day.
Merry Christmas, and see you all on the 29th!
