05S44

Hey people I've realised I've not blogged for quite long already. So here I am, blogging for the sake of blogging. Hahaa.. I'm afraid that if I don't write something soon, come next year, I won't be able to string a sentence together.

But then again, I also seem to run out of things to blog about. Well, if you were to ask me to write about what I'm doing now in the holidays, I also would have nothing much to say; not so because I'm too free, but because I'm almost out all the time, and at the end of the day, I still don't know what I've been busy with. Well, I can say that its a struggle every morning to wake up and pull myself out of bed for training though. Haha, as you all know, Wilbur was a pig in Charlotte's Web, and maybe I've inherited some lazy traits. Of course, its no good to stay lazy for too long. And I'm planning to drag myself out of that state and start on my HOLIDAY HW! Oh that forbidden word, pardon me for mentioning it and saddening everyone.

And so, for lack of a better topic, I've decided to give my 2 cents worth on what 05S44 will be like in 10 years time. Actually, I think its already good enough that we're already thinking about this potential we have to last on even 10 years down the road. Of course, I wouldn't expect to see 25 of us re-uniting again 10 years down the road (not even 2 years i think). But that is typical of classes though. There are always some people who cannot identify with the class spirit, people who are just too busy with other things.. But as long as we can say we are meeting up as 1 class, and 10 people turn up, I'll be really glad coz its enough to represent a class.

Take for example my primary 6 class, we've been meeting up every year since we graduated. Thinking about it, its been 5 years already. Yet as each year passes, we have fewer meetings, and less people turn up, as people get less contactable and some people lose interest. Yet there's always this bunch of people who are interested in gathering and meeting up again, reminicising about old times. And that.. would cause the spirit of the class to live on.

Like a flame, a class spirit may grow weaker and weaker, fading with time.. but as long as there are still people remembering the class in their hearts, the flame will never die away.

And of course, I wouldn't want to push Nigel's and Liang's advertisement to the bottom with this post. So remember to go for the worship night if you can make it!! I'll just be breaking camp on that day so hopefully I'll be able to make it. Looks like its gonna be real BIG.. haha.
